Wedding Bells…and a 5-6-7-8!
Summer is the start of wedding season – I should know! One of the questions I’ve been getting asked a lot lately is how I’m keeping in shape for my wedding. Between cake tastings, dress fittings, flying around everywhere for wedding preparations, and everyday life, it can be hard for a bride-to-be to set aside time for a workout!
Here’s the thing though, your workout doesn’t have to be long! Short workouts are just as effective because at the end of the day, at least you’re starting. Start slow because even if you only have two minutes today, do two perfect minutes and maybe you’ll have three minutes tomorrow!
Speaking of three minutes, if you only have that much time to spare, that’s great! I’ve got a three-minute core workout that you can do every other day or add to the end of your existing workout routine. This workout is not only good for your posture, but it’ll improve your balance too (especially since you’ll be wearing those beautiful heels you’ve picked for the ceremony and reception!).
All you need is an exercise mat, towel, or a soft surface. Do each of these exercises for one minute and you’ll be surprised at how quickly you will tone.
There are so many more of these easy workouts on my 5678 Fitness DVD to help you get ready for your big day or your next summer beach vacation. In celebration of my upcoming wedding, the DVD is on sale, so just like me, you can cha-cha and jive your way to the altar!
